Selective indignation of the anti-war marchers

IN response to Gibson Bowles (Irish Examiner letters, March 28), the questions I posed in my letter of March 26 in relation to the inconsistency and selectivity of “anti-war” protesters in this country remain unanswered.

Selective indignation of the anti-war marchers

Mr Bowles asserts that most protest because they are unconvinced that the “barbaric” actions of the US and Britain are justified.

By this rationale, do we take it that their failure to protest against military action taken by nations other than the US and Britain signifies that they consider such actions fully justified, and not barbaric?
