ACCORDING to statistics, the average paedophile is a married man with two children. I suspect the problem in Ireland is far more widespread than people think.

Why focus on one form of child abuse?

In addition, we have between 7,000 and 10,000 abortions out of Ireland every year. Surely this, too, is child abuse - and murder?

What about Mary Harney’s assent to 11-year-old girls getting the morning-after pill? Is there not statutory rape involved here?
