It was a hectic weekend of hurling action in Kilkenny with the senior championship quarter-finals down for decision in UPMC Nowlan Park.

At the end of play, county champions Shamrocks Ballyhale, Thomastown, Tullaroan and Bennettsbridge are the four left standing with the race for the Tom Walsh Cup really heating up.
