Animal article in bad taste
To those of you who did not read the article, it explained how a motorist thankfully escaped relatively uninjured after a horse galloped onto the road straight into his Class A Mercedes.
A horrific accident it was and thank God Stephen Joyce is alive and well to tell the tale! My criticism however is the callous nature of the headline, the graphic photograph above the article and the fact that there was no regard or pity paid to the unfortunate horse which was killed in this incident.
I and many of my friends found the article to be most distasteful and disturbing. I look forward to seeing my letter published in your otherwise excellent newspaper.
