There were 83 "probable" suicides in the Traveller community between 2023 and 2025, an Oireachtas committee has heard.

Junior mental health minister Mary Butler told the committee on key issues affecting the Traveller community that the new evidence from Exchange House Ireland National Travellers Service "highlights the scale of the challenge" of suicide prevention in the community.
