Young girls on the pill: a frightening vista
We all know what happened to Rome while Nero fiddled or perhaps while the Dáil was in recess!
Minister for Health and Children Mary Harney may have dealt her party and the Government a severe body-blow, with her support for the controversial morning-after pill to be given to eleven-year-old children.
When will the PDs return to the high moral ground that once belonged exclusively to them?
Does the Tánaiste really believe there is popular support out there for such a questionable measure?
Parents of children, particularly those with girls aged 11, will be wary of the frightening vista whereby the nanny state may be about to foist a contraceptive pill of sorts on their children.
Who's driving this dodgy agenda? Where are the clerics and political watchdogs who should be protecting our society from this sort of decaying influence?
