Keep an eye out for the fair day sharpshooter

YOUR readers may be interested to know that the showcase of Ireland’s country sports calendar, the National Country Fair, takes place at Emo Court, Emo, Co Laois, on June 6/7.

In its fifth year, the fair has proved itself to be one of Ireland's premier outdoor events, with a range international competitions, exhibitions and trade stands.

The new angling championships offer €15,000 worth of prizes and the international open spey casting championships, with a purse of €3,000, is sure to be hotly contested.
