Driving tests: now where did we hear that before?

TRANSPORT Minister Martin Cullen recently announced that he was introducing measures to deal with the intolerable driver testing backlog.

In a speech to the Society of the Irish Motor Industry he said it was “unacceptable from a customer service point of view that test applicants can find themselves waiting up to 60 weeks for a test date.”

It appears one of the ‘new’ ideas proposed to tackle the problem is to recruit more testers.
