SMOKERS unhappy with the ban argue they should have the right to choose when and where they can smoke. Their argument holds no sway because as addicts they have no choice.

They are beholden to irrational yearnings summoned by their addiction to relieve their craving.

Prior to the ban it was we non-smokers who had no choice and had to inhale our friends’ noxious plumes whenever and wherever they decided to light up.
