GAA ‘bad guys’ are men of distinction
Well, some of these ‘bad guys’, like Con Murphy of Cork, have served the GAA with great distinction while others north of the Border have risked their lives as a result of their involvement in the association.
All Rule 42 supporters should not be tarred so disgracefully.
Mr Sweeney apparently shares GAA president Sean Kelly’s view that the association has shown itself to be a good neighbour by allowing rugby and soccer to be played at Croke Park.
If that’s the case, then perhaps the GAA should not charge the FAI or the IRFU for the use of Croke Park because most good neighbours would not charge for loaning something or other.
