WELL it’s not long to Christmas now and we have the budget to look forward to. As most of the damage to our pockets has already been done, no doubt Santa Charlie will gloss over whatever pittance he throws our way.

What a wonderful year it has been. Every service under the sun rocketed in price.

Nice ploy. Get all bad news out of the way as quickly as possible, then pretend everything’s not as bad as it seems.
