The Kinahan cartel is believed to be behind a mobile drug laboratory uncovered in Co Kildare as part of a global operation targeting top international gangs.

The cartel — which has restructured its operations in Spain — was trafficking in cocaine chemically bound into wood and shipped over by Colombian suppliers.
