Worlds apart

THERE they go again! Clare County Council making a mockery of the public.

Let's get this in perspective: this junket to Oz is nothing more than a preChristmas booze-up for stressed out, overworked, public officials. They must think we're fools.

Down Under, is it? Truly a world away from the people they have the audacity to presume to serve.

Let's give them 10 out of 10 on the puke-ometer, while we look forward to the local elections in June. That should bring them back to earth with a thud.
