Controls must be set for EU immigrants
But good ol' Ireland can be relied upon once more to fling open her already heavily loaded arms in welcome.
These people will reap the benefits of social welfare, medical cards and assistance straight away, thus the influx to Ireland will naturally be huge.
We are a small and unimportant island, in spite of what anyone says. For all our wealth, we simply cannot afford to support the people that flock here every year. What is the Government thinking when it decides to give millions more access to State benefits at a time when our health system is in tatters and the taxpayer is being screwed?
On top of this, I think that in the years to come Ireland will be suffering the consequences of racial discontent. But the Government chooses to ignore this.
Something must be done. Something that will benefit both sides of this dispute. The Irish have no problem with letting immigrants into the country but letting them in on this scale can only cause trouble for all involved.
