How secure is Bush?

I NOTED the extraordinary security for President Bush on his recent state visit to Britain.

If he faced such danger in his poodle’s backyard, what would it cost to preserve him in a country where he is really unpopular? Hopefully these issues will become academic after the next presidential election.
