We won’t forget

There are rumblings from Education Minister Noel Dempsey of the re-introduction of third level fees.

The government may feel secure in their five-year term of office, but today's students and their parents will not forget at the next election if the government imposes full fees. Ernest Blythe is still remembered for taking the boots from the Gardaí and the shilling from old age pensioners and John Bruton for the tax on children’s shoes. No amount of spin doctoring will make us forget if full fees come back.
