Every child has the right to a normal family
Might I remind him that Ireland has just begun to face up to 50 years of child sexual abuse, and the rights of children have been affirmed.
A child has a right to a normal family made up of a man and woman to offer the appropriate adjustment and love to that child and to care for him or her.
To suggest that two men or two women homosexuals constitute a normal family is a lie: it does not even constitute a family, but an immorality and an outrage.
Sodomy has always been morally repugnant and a serious offence against God. While it is now legal in Ireland, it will never be morally right. Those engaged in it are not normal, and can never truly discover love which is about the giving of self, rather than self-gratification, albeit perversely, so why entrust innocent children to this type of environment.
For God’s sake, let us protect our children from being adopted by homosexual or other deviant people. I am surprised that child protection agencies in Ireland and the Catholic bishops have allowed this to go by without challenge. It may be indicative of how low and how morally bankrupt Ireland has become.
