Every child has the right to a normal family

I READ with total disgust the attorney general’s views permitting homosexual couples the right to adopt children.

Might I remind him that Ireland has just begun to face up to 50 years of child sexual abuse, and the rights of children have been affirmed.

A child has a right to a normal family made up of a man and woman to offer the appropriate adjustment and love to that child and to care for him or her.
