Fergus Finlay: Michael O'Leary would prefer to be part of the problem, not the solution
Michael O’Leary doesn’t do empathy or respect. He’s always taken pleasure in insulting anyone he perceives as an enemy, and for Michael that’s a long list.
I often wish I’d been born full of self-confidence and certainty. Instead, like (I reckon) the majority of people, I struggle with self-doubt.
Especially Irish people. It may be something to do with a colonial history, or maybe the effect of Catholicism on our lives, but we’re always more prepared to believe the other person has it right and we must be wrong.
