Fergus Finlay: A tentative dip into AI has scared the life out of me

I have to start with a confession. I wanted information about artificial intelligence (AI) and it seemed to me appropriate in the circumstances to ask AI itself some questions, through one of the large language models available online.
Generally speaking I’d regard it as a bit unethical to use AI for material for a column. But I hope you’ll forgive me, especially since everything it told me has frightened the life out of me.
