Last train to Cobh leaves Cork city far too early

It would appear that Irish Rail still believes that the people of Cobh and Midleton or at least those who wish to travel by train, should be in their beds at a respectable hour. 

The last train for Midleton leaves Cork at 22.15 and that for Cobh 15 minutes later: times which simply eliminate any possibility of using some of the City’s recreational and cultural facilities.

In contrast in Dublin, the last train for Kildare departs at 23.10 that for Howth at 23.24 and the Luas operates until 00.30.
