Water services must return to the councils

Is there anybody in Irish Water with a sense of reality?

Water services must return to the councils

They are spending a fortune on advertising that the deadline has been extended to the end of November. What planet are they on? This deadline has no relevance to the Irish people. If the Government wanted to get a contribution to the cost of producing water then an increase in the household tax would have been the way.

This government have slashed and burned everything except bondholders. They have continued cronyism and now they expect us to apply for water. This is Ireland 2014, not Germany 1933.
