By granting an injunction to the Dublin Airport Authority, plus Ryanair, it has effectively prevented Siptu from staging a four-hour strike tomorrow.

The strike would have hit flights at Dublin, crippling Cork and Shannon airports into the bargain. Besides the predicted loss of millions, the journeys of thousands of travellers would end in chaos.
