The greatest Irishman?

It is right and fitting that Michael Collins be honoured in the military barracks that bears his noble name. Michael Collins was an outstanding Irishman, a true and tragic hero.

In his address to an invited audience, including hundreds of schoolchildren, on Oct 16, the brigadier general stated that the event ‘recognised the greatest political leader Ireland has ever seen’.
