Cyberbullying - A response with teeth

The role played by cyberbullying in myriad suicides is well established.

The phenomenon has caused considerable concern because it almost defies national legal structures. Online platforms that facilitate the abuse are often based in countries beyond the reach of our laws, so it very difficult to control or identify, much less censure, those responsible.

Parents, especially those of vulnerable, sensitive children sometime feel powerless in the face of such an anonymous, intrusive force and wonder how they can respond in a way that protects targeted children.
