Insolvency legislation - A legitimate summation of remarks

“A lot of people are very stressed and we need to ensure that we do not add to that stress,” Transport Minister Leo Varadkar declared in a statement issued to RTE’s Morning Ireland yesterday.

He was responding to a discussion about remarks that he made to journalists the previous day in relation to the proposed new insolvency regime.

“It is obviously best to wait until the guidelines have been published so that we can have an informed debate on the matter,” he said.
