Royal prank call was ‘just a bit of fun’

King Edward VII’s hospital where the unfortunate nurse who took her own life worked, had no right to contact the Australian radio show to complain about the young presenters who were only having a bit of broadcasting fun regarding the royals.

Hospitals generally are very slow to admit to their own mistakes, often to the hurt feelings and the humiliation of grieving families.

We must not become so cruel as to lay blame at the door of a couple of innocent youngsters who were only doing the kind of gag which is pulled every day.
