Why I won’t vote

I, TOO, will be abstaining from voting in the Presidential election.

In fact my desire is that the next time I vote it will be in a referenda to abolish the Presidency, the Seanad and at least half the number of TDs.

Also, I imagine we would be adequately served by half the present number of councillors.

Of course, it is in the personal interest of politicians to retain those political positions so change will only come through massive pressure by the people.
