Mladic arrested - A decade too late
He should have faced justice years ago and would have done so had he not been protected in his home country where he is still regarded as a hero by a considerable minority.
He was the brutal military leader of the Bosnian Serbs during the country’s 1992-1995 war and enforced Radovan Karadzic’s vision of an ethnically pure Greater Serbia. Just like Germany’s Nazi’s half a century before, he believed a person right to life depended on their origin or religion.
