Pull plug on the NCT

REVELATIONS about the NCT car test on Monday night’s Primetime investigation were deeply disturbing, but hardly surprising giving that major concerns have been voiced about the test from the very outset of its introduction.

The test hasn’t a shred of credibility and is wide open to systematic bribery and manipulation. The National Roads Authority who are responsible for the test need to begin a country-wide investigation with the gardaí into what is fast becoming one of the biggest rackets we have in the country. It is high time the NCT was completely scrapped in lieu of recent findings and some of the rogue mechanics that go with it.
