Economic argument is open and shut

THOSE opposing the EU Reform Treaty want to have the referendum debate focused on obscure and technical arguments.

Those supporting the treaty should focus on the central argument that it is in Ireland’s economic interest to vote ‘yes’.

This is the bigger picture and we should never lose sight of it. Our commitment to Europe is a key selling point to companies which want to invest in Ireland as the gateway to the EU marketplace of 500 million people.
