Inexplicable decision is no credit to jury system

It could be argued that no reasonable jury would have acquitted given the amount of force used. The use of lethal force to protect property is not recognised in Irish law and the use of such force in self-defence is extremely limited where there is no other option. Why the jury acquitted Nally is inexplicable.
