Insulting Ireland

JAMES McGRAND from Hampshire, in England suggests we rejoin the UK (Irish Examiner letters, November 9).

Obviously his schooling has not informed him that this was never a voluntary act and to propose becoming part of such a political entity is an insult to the country and sovereign nation in which he says he had such an enjoyable holiday recently.
