AT least lemmings have a sense of purpose, more so than the computer-generated hordes in the new AIB Ryder Cup TV ad.

What is the point of this commercial? One description of a lemming is “a member of a large group of people who blindly follow one another on a course of action that will lead to the destruction of all of them”.

That could put you off banking and golf forever.
