Government misses 2023 social and affordable housing targets

Of a 5,500 target for the entire year, the Government delivered 4,011 affordable houses.

The Government has missed its 2023 social and affordable housing targets, newly released figures show.

In total, there were 11,939 social houses delivered across 2023, including new-builds, acquisitions and leasing.
