Woman, 20s, dies following two-car crash in Tipperary
The incident happened at around 9pm on Tuesday evening.
A woman in her 20s has died following a collision involving two cars in Co Tipperary.
The incident happened on the Nenagh to Dromineer Road R495, Nenagh, at around 9pm on Tuesday evening.
The driver of one car, the woman in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has since been taken to University Hospital Limerick.
The coroner has been notified and an autopsy will be carried out in due course.
The road is currently closed for gardaí to carry out a technical examination of the scene.
Any road users who may have camera footage(including dash-cam) and were travelling on the Nenagh to Dromineer Road R495, Co. Tipperary, between 8.15pm and 9.15pm on Tuesday May 12 2026 are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
