Status yellow wind and rainfall warning for Cork and Kerry with 'localised flooding' predicted

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow wind and rainfall warning for Cork and Kerry, with "localised flooding" expected.
The warning — which comes into effect at 7pm on Monday evening and will remain in place until 6am on Tuesday morning — comes with predictions of "very strong and gusty winds" while the warning remains.
The forecaster has warned of fallen branches, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions as a result of heavy rainfall.

Temperatures are expected to drop with lowest temperatures of -1C to 4C predicted.
"Any rain will clear to the north on Tuesday morning," the forecaster added.
Sunny spells and highest temperatures of between 8C to 11C are forecast for the remainder of Tuesday.
