Cork County Council has erected flood barriers in Mallow and Fermoy in advance of an orange weather warning issued for Cork, Kerry and Waterford for Tuesday. 

Heavy rain and “blustery” winds are expected in the coming days as Storm Babet is due to hit Ireland.
