Shoplifting accused targeted almost €1.4k of jewellery in Cork City store, judge says

The defendant is also before the court charged with other shoplifting offences

A young woman accused of shoplifting appears to have targeted almost €1,400 worth of jewellery in one of her charges, a district court judge said.

Judge David Waters warned 25-year-old Casandra Contstantin that if she did not comply with the directions of the probation service in respect of sentencing for an earlier theft then she would be at risk of being remanded in custody at Limerick Prison until the case was finalised.
