Man in his 20s dies after violent incident in Dublin as three charged

A man in his 20s who was seriously injured during a violent incident in Dublin on Saturday has died, An Garda Síochána has confirmed, with a third man charged in connection with the investigation.

In a statement released on Tuesday, gardaí said the man, who had been seriously injured during the incident, died in hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

An Garda Síochána is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, which occurred at approximately 8.25pm on Saturday in Leopardstown.

Gardaí and emergency services received reports of an incident involving a number of people at the South County Business Park, where one man sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Three men, also aged in their 20s, have been charged in connection with the incident and have now appeared before the courts.

Garda appeal for information 

Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

Anyone with camera footage, including dashcam footage, who was in or around Vantage Apartments, Central Park, the South County Business Park, Leopardstown or Leopardstown Road between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday is asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
