Ireland’s media regulator has called on TikTok to provide a “full account” of how it is dealing with teenagers posting joyriding and dangerous driving videos on its platform.

Coimisiún na Meán has asked the social media giant to provide information on whether it has “introduced or scaled up proactive monitoring or additional human review of content or accounts”, following several incidents involving cars being driven the wrong way on motorways.
