The first batch of official hotel packages have been shared on the Ryder Cup’s official accommodation website, with the cheapest costing over €4,500 for a three-star hotel in Galway.
To “soak in” the Ryder Cup atmosphere at Adare Manor in Limerick, all-inclusive packages are on offer, which include accommodation for five nights, return transportation, as well as a four-day standard Ryder Cup ticket.
As part of the experience, the official travel operation for the tournament, Ryder Cup Travel Services, has shared a list of accommodations available from September 15 to 20 in Cork, Galway, Tipperary, and Killarney.
The only hotels listed in Limerick are already fully booked more than 650 days ahead of the tournament, but it is understood some may have a waiting list.
The cheapest offer starts at €4,587 for a three-star hotel in Galway, for one person staying in a double room.
In Cork, the Maryborough Hotel has a price tag of €7,187 per person for its five-night experience.
Leonardo Hotel in Cork offers a total price of €6,666 for one person, for the same package.
Meanwhile, Cork International Hotel and the Metropole Hotel can both be booked on the same dates for €5,541 per person.
The Talbot Hotel can be booked for €5,122 per person.
These prices do not include flights, and an upfront payment of 50% of the total bill is required upon booking — with the remaining cost due in 2027.
Through the official channel, Ryder Cup Travel Services, several “experiences” are on offer.
Accommodation can also be booked in private property rentals, including apartments in Limerick, from towns surrounding Adare to the city centre.
Visitors can express their interest for private accommodation by completing a form, which gives them the option of selecting hotel, private house, camping, glamping — or even cruise ship accommodation.
The option of an “alternative accommodation” is also listed, with details to be announced in the lead up to the tournament.
Ryder Cup Travel Services also offers “premium experience enhancements” , some including perks such as access to the final practice day or trophy presentation.
For example, their “Samuel Ryder Club” will be nestled between the fan village and the 9th hole, and is described as the “perfect spot for fans who want the comfort of an exclusive area while still being surrounded by the famous energy and atmosphere that only that only the Ryder Cup can deliver".
To upgrade to a premium package, prices vary depending on the day, starting from €995 on Thursday, September 16, while the Friday and Sunday upgrades are priced at €1,680.
Approximately 55,000 visitors are expected daily at the Ryder Cup during competition days, with about 300,000 visitors expected over the entire week.
The prices of general sale tickets are yet to be announced for the tournament, however corporate packages are already available — with access to one of the premium suites priced at €13,550 from the Thursday to the Sunday.
Meanwhile, local residents have been advertising their homes through unofficial channels.
The previously revealed those wishing to rent their homes during the Ryder Cup could make up to €25,600 through official channels, while properties listed on unofficial websites could triple that price tag.
A house located in Pallasgreen, Co Limerick, is advertised at a price of €60,000.
