The motorbike that likely led Michael Collins’ convoy on the day he was shot dead in his native county of Cork has been rediscovered and was unveiled on Wednesday in Clonakilty.

Tánaiste and minister for defence Simon Harris unveiled the motorbike at the Michael Collins Centre museum at Castleview outside Clonakilty on Wednesday.
