On Friday night, temperatures will fall back to between 4C and 8C with long clear spells in a light and variable breeze.
Saturday too will be a dry and sunny day overall, with temperatures again expected to surpass the 20C mark.
As cloud increases from the northwest, Saturday night will see the temperatures drop to around 5C to 9C.
At this stage, conditions on Sunday are not expected to be quite as fair as Saturday, with cloud and patchy rain and drizzle likely to develop from the northwest from the morning onwards. That said, it will still be bright and sunny, particularly in the south and southeast of the country. Temperatures on Sunday will range from 16C to 20C in light breezes.
On Sunday night, more patchy light rain, drizzle, and mist will develop across most counties, amid temperatures of around 9C to 11C.
Met Éireann says that Monday will “continue mostly cloudy with rain or drizzle” though there will be “some drier intervals also”. Temperatures on Monday will be broadly similar to Sunday – 15C to 20C in moderate west to northwest breezes.
