Fianna Fáil ministers hold 'constructive' meeting with IFA amid farmers' protest

Tánaiste Micheál Martin says a “constructive” meeting took place between Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA) protesters and Fianna Fáil ministers, following a protest outside the party’s think-in earlier this morning.

The protest, over the European Commission’s decision to tighten rules on Ireland’s nitrates derogation, is taking place outside the Horse and Jockey Hotel, where the Fianna Fáil think-in is ongoing in Co Tipperary.
