Gardaí investigating the murder of a 55-year-old man on Bandon Road have arrested his sister and charged her this afternoon on a count of aggravated burglary. Investigating gardaí also arrested a 41-year-old man and charged him with trespassing to commit an assault.
Agriculture Minister Michael Creed says that getting all sides of the beef dispute back to the negotiating table is a complex matter and that the ongoing impasse is an emotional issue that has had farmers “on the verge of tears”.
