Update: Gardaí examine two scenes after girl, 2, dies from her injuries in Cork

A two-year-old girl taken to hospital from an apartment in Cork city earlier today, has died.

Update: Gardaí investigating the death of a two-year-old girl are examining two scenes on Boreenmanna Road in Cork city this afternoon.

Ann Murphy of the Evening Echo reports that the two scenes are in the Elderwood apartment complex and officers are expected to remain there over the weekend.
