Military Police and Gardaí investigate cocaine find on army base

A €3,000 drugs find on an army base in Dublin has prompted two investigations.

Military Police and Gardaí are both conducting inquiries after cocaine was seized at the Cathal Brugha Barracks in Rathmines last Friday.

There have been no arrests so far.

Members of the Defence Forces have undergone mandatory drugs testing since the early noughties.
