IBRC former chairman renews plea for access to documents

IBRC's former chairman says he cannot help the stalled inquiry into the bank's affairs without getting access to all the appropriate documents.

Alan Dukes has renewed his plea for access to the documents, saying they could help the struggling inquiry to investigate the sale of SiteServ and other transactions.

Dukes says he found out in August that the inquiry was having legal difficulty, but has yet to be asked to give evidence.

And he says if he is asked for evidence, he will have to be given access to the paperwork behind them.

"These are actions that took place between January of 2009 and February of 2013 as far as I understand there are 38 transactions involved, I think you'd have to be some kind of a wonder-kid to remember all the details of 38 transactions."
