100 jobs and €15m investment announced by Taoiseach
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has announced 100 new jobs for Dublin, the West Coast and the Midlands.
Affidea, which is rebranding from Euromedic, is creating the jobs in a €15m investment.
The diagnostic imaging provider will expand its current clinics and open new ones, adding the jobs to 135 already here.
Among the services to be provided are MRI scans and it will bring Gamma Knife treatment used for some head and neck cancers to Ireland for the first time.
The Taoiseach has said the investment is a "vote of confidence" in the economy.
