Passengers advised to check flights due to fog disruption
Anyone intending to travel by air over the coming days is being warned to check with their airline.
Several flights have been grounded in Ireland, the UK and elsewhere in Europe due to severe fog yesterday.
A spokesperson for the Dublin Airport Authority says conditions have improved this morning, but a number of flights into the London city area are cancelled.
Six flights from Dublin to London have been cancelled this morning due to the heavy fog.

Early flights to Manchester, London City and Heathrow airports have been cancelled from Belfast City Airport, while Belfast International Airport has asked passengers to check with their airlines.
British Airways said the fog was affecting flights at Heathrow, Gatwick and London City Airports and advised passengers to check online for updates.
Around 45 flights, 10% of departures from Heathrow airport, have been “pre-cancelled” as a yellow weather warning for fog covers much of England and east Wales.
A spokeswoman for Heathrow airport said: “We’ve got extra passenger ambassadors in the terminals to provide assistance for those travelling today.
“Once again we would like to apologise for the disruption.”

The poor weather conditions are expected to last for a few days.
